# How to Turn Your AI Persona On in SalesRook

### Step 1: Access the Relevant Contact

1. **Navigate to the Contacts Tab**: You can find the contact by searching in the **Contacts** tab.
2. **Use the Conversations Tab**: Alternatively, go to the **Conversations** tab, locate the conversation where the AI persona has had issues, and click on the contact's initials to open their details.

### Step 2: Reactivate the AI Persona

1. **Open Contact Details**: Once you have found the relevant contact, scroll down to the **SalesRook 1** section on the left-hand side.
2. **Find AI Persona Status**: Look for the **AI Persona Status** field.
3. **Use the Dropdown Menu**: The AI persona status will be displayed in a dropdown menu. If it is turned off, simply select the option to turn it **On** again.

### Step 3: Respond and Resume Interaction

* **Respond in AI Persona**: If the AI persona was turned off due to a timeout or another issue, manually respond in the conversation and select **AI Persona** to resume control.
* **AI Persona Takes Over**: Once reactivated, the AI persona will resume handling the conversation from that point onward.
